Jacques Grospiron / Sculptor on paper
The Pergamano holds no secrets for Jacques
Born in Nemours in October 1936, Jacques studied there and, at the age of 14, began an apprenticeship as a typographer.
The taste for painting came to him at that time. The hazards of life meant that he resumed this activity at retirement age.
His preference was for landscapes brought back from his numerous trips. He devoted himself to trompe l'oeil and watercolours.
Numerous painting exhibitions are spread out over his career: Château-Landon, Nemours, Paris, Cahors, Troyes, Bruges.
In 2015, he discovered Pergamano, the art of parchment, and he regularly works on it.
One can make greeting cards, boxes, lampshades.
The techniques are perforation, chiselling and embossing.
