The landscapes in ochre and red paint.
Marc has always painted from a very young age. He paints landscapes of the region where he lives mainly, but also distant and well-known landscapes. He enjoys the atmosphere of exhibitions, openings and communicating with people who find his paintings interesting.
and communicating with people who find his paintings interesting.
Self-taught, figurative, Marc started to paint at the age of 10 years in oil and then in watercolour. For the last ten years he has been painting with acrylics on large canvas frames.
Inspired by Van Gogh, Vermeer and Brueghel, he recently discovered the Namib desert with its ochre and red colours.
He uses the following colours: Naples yellow, Payne grey, sky blue, green oxide, vermilion red, sepia ink and yellow and red ochre.
Marc exhibits in regional associations.
