Introduced to drawing and painting at a very young age by her artist mother, Jocelyne Olivier Labrosse chose watercolour.
Seduced by the freedom of the gesture, the transparency and the delicacy of the pigments, she became passionate about this medium, which is both simple (just water and pigments) and yet offers immense possibilities.

Painting in the wet, following the path of the water brings her a new freedom, far from a rigid framework.
Inspired by the garden she creates around her house, she paints nature to the rhythm of the seasons.
If landscapes are her preference, Jocelyne also likes to paint still lifes, animals...
Jocelyne regularly participates in painting shows and has received numerous awards and distinctions in her speciality.
She offers watercolour courses and workshops at her studio in Chenou, where her watercolours are on display. Her postcards of Château-Landon and a production of this village are on sale at the town's Tourist Office.
