The years 2000 will be a turning point in Pascal's evolution. A graduate of the Camondo school, his architect/designer's eye leads him to privilege volumes and tonal relationships rather than the search for a pictorial aestheticism. Physical and instinctive, this painting today evokes a universe made of minerality, brutal and strong.
The evocation of stone becomes an essential element in his plastic expression. The search for a language, for a certain authenticity through traces, scratches in the material; the contrasts in the relationship of tones and breaks in form, the sobriety or even the nakedness of certain surfaces in contrast with the transparency of the glazes, serve as a framework for the painter.
Pascal conceives of a painting that is both vigorous and intimate, that sets the colours in motion, plays with the gesture to integrate light and create relief and rhythm.
He graduated in 1985 from the CAMONDO School (Paris), interior architecture, design, and collaborated with various architects and designers before turning to painting.

In 1989, he became a member of the Maison des Artistes in Paris and in 2001, he left Paris to set up his studio in the beautiful medieval village of Château-Landon.

In 2007, he became the initiator of the "Ephemera" of Château-Landon, a biennial event of contemporary art in which he invests and participates in various projects in defence of the environment and biodiversity.
