Magnificent landscapes on the banks of the Loing .....
Its Sainte Marie Madeleine church was built in the 12th century in a typical Gâtinais style. Nevertheless, a square steeple covered with slate was knocked down in 1965 and the ruins of the bell tower were restored with the participation of local quarrymen. So this campanile is unusual in an area where the bell towers are most often square.
Another element that can be seen, the hosannière cross which is in the cemetery. It consists of two limestone blocks, one block for the column and another for the base. The cross has been classified as a Historic Monument since 1926.
You can also see, while walking in a wood, an old tower of a fortified castle. But also, stroll along the canal and enjoy the view of the old water mill on the Loing.
