Born in Oran, Algeria, Samia has dedicated herself to her art since 1998.
Self-taught, she was able to perfect her skills by taking courses with artists at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris and has been participating regularly in exhibitions since 2012.
Samia loves to treat the female body in all its forms by playing with the intensity of the lighting. She works in acrylic and oil and particularly likes the effects obtained under the influence of water on her canvases, always maximising the play of light and shadow.
Samia has continued her artistic evolution by creating a series of more erotic paintings which she calls "les envies de la Fatma".
Her paintings represent her passion for the body and the pleasure of the oriental woman with her traditional clothes, jewels and colours.
By simply signing her paintings with her name and surname, Samia HAOUARI, who has been forged by the trials of life, humbly delivers her works as a reflection of a woman's life through her struggles, her beliefs, her beauty and above all her freedom!
